pissed at Lieberman's ouster.

They are all singing him praises. I suppose so, as Lieberman sucked Bush's wee wee every day for the past five years.

So, using this as gauge, plus the fact that Rove and Bush want to "personally" help Lieberman, this leaves me to conclude that the Time story that Wicket has posted in this forum is pure, unadulterated bullshit.

Lieberman gave Bush a lot of much needed "cover". Chimpy could always claim false examples of "bipartisanship" as long as Lieberman came running to him every time Chimpolini whistled.

Fuck Time.

And Fuck Loser Lieberman, too.

3. Lieberman hasn't lost yet.
He can still be Diebolded back into power in November, as an 'Independent.' Then it's just a short hop, skip and jump into the waiting arms of the Repugs, where he can use his 'independence' to do their bidding full time.

9. No Diebold in CT.
They use the old fashioned lever machines. Holy Joe is going to have to pull it off fair and square. Or at least as close to fair and square as we get in America.

8. bushco represents an extreme right wing politics
and lieberman -- as the democratic party crossover provided that extremism a cover.

that alone should have handed him his hat -- and though i didn't vote in conneticut -- it did.

20. Disagree. This is part of Rove's 30 Year Empire. He only wants
a percentage of each part of Democrats base. Black Pastors and their flocks in Ohio wemt maybe 4 or 6% more GOP over the gay/abortion issues (???). By wedging Israeli Hawks from the Dem base.. GOP has done a great thing for themselves.

Rove got control of Texas by flipping a few key Democrats... focussing on them... and then the fans of those Dem leadership followed. Well a percentage of the fans.

Lieberman is the same thing.

It is all just slicing and dicing and so much fun..playing with people's lives.

25. UM... big tent used to include "a few hawks"? It is all about making
the Dem base and big tent smaller.

Remember the Dems who supporter of MOVE ON . ORG make up 25% of the electorate. 35% are solid Repuke base. That leaves 40% up for grabs. And Israeli hawks make up a small percentage of that. But an important percentage.

The battle is to make your party a big tent. Pull up the stakes and walk away secure in the knowledge that Dems cannot win the Presidency or the House... without getting a bigger portion of the 40% than they did in the last elections.

Watch Rove slice and dice your Democratic coalition. And then laugh about it. I'm not happy with Lieberman's hawk votes.. but he was not alone in Democrats who wanted to stay the course. And He was solidly democrat on 85% of issues. It is a loss for us. And a win for the GOP.

We lost a part of our Democratic base. And if you want power... that matters.

28. as we used to say "cheater's proof", whenever you accuse someone
of something, they deny it, and then the very next point they do what they denied.

Lieberman claimed he wasn't in Bush's pocket and not a darling of the neocons. By pulling this crap as he has the last few days, he proves those charges true.

from the 'other side' who is 'reasonable' to make his mayhem appear to be just fine.

They've lost that in Loserman
