Lou Dobbs just slammed the BFEE, again!
He is the Yin and Glenn Beck is the Yang of CNN.

1. Lou it seems,
with these latest revelations about the deceptions concerning the 9-11 DoD and NORAD testimony has just about had it with this bush administration calling them inept and not deserving of any credibility now and from here on out. He was visibly upset after that last segment.

2. Oooh! What was the segment about?
Do tell, I was watching Russert on NBC Nightly News, and my head feels all foggy and soft now.

3. The segment had to do with the book
that two of the 9-11 Commission members are coming out with. Kean and I can't recall the other member's name. The book skewers the DoD and NORAD and FAA testimony calling it less than truthful. (not an exact quote, but that's the gist of it)

5. I like the guy he had on, the Democratic Strategist guy.
Wouldn't take shit from the news whores. Even defended the troops and tried to get Lou to listen to their plight. Smart man.

4. Wow.... go, Lou! Just slammed some Lamont-hating Republican
The panel is talking about Lamont-Lieberman, two Repubs and one Dem. The Repubs are parroting the daily talking points about Lamont being a cut-and-run Democrat.

One of the Repubs is going on and on about how Lamont has no plan for Iraq, no plan to confront Islamic fundamentalism. He says that Bush has his problems in Iraq, but it's a bi-partisan problem and the Democrats have to see things his way.

Lou says, "A bi-partisan problem? It looks like a litany of incompetence to me."

:-)

Shook those mouthpieces like a dog! Even tried to defend our troops, wouldn't except that BFEE bullshit! Lou stopped him, should have let him go!

8. Loved it when the Repub tried to pull the race card....
... "the Democrats have elected an Al Sharpton Democrat."

The Dem on the panel practically roared at him. "What does that have to do with the result? What does that honestly have to do with anything?"

He was good... who was he? I'd like to see Joe Klein on the unemployment line soon. :-)

11. That was great.
That suppurating chancre James Taranto, ace wanker for the Wall Street Urinal, was duly cornholed. I hate that bastard.

16. I'll keep an eye out for him in the future.
Yeah it was priceless...the RWinger looked down for a moment and lost all credibility at the same time. Smart man. I'll try and find out who that was. :hi:

7. Give Lou his due
He is fair and on-target when it comes to trade, labor, and electronic voting fraud. His disgust with the status quo goes against his conservative creds, and that can only be good for the higher duty of journalism over that of ideology.

With all of the conservative propaganda apologists infesting the airwaves, it is good knowing at least ONE of them knows his job is being a journalist first, and a talking head second.

I am not totally enamored of Lou - some of his views are rooted in good old-fashioned xenophobia and classic Amercan nativism. But he really does take his job seriously, and is accurate more often than not. I try to catch his newscast every night. Only Keith and Colbert are higher priorities.

14. He was commenting on the book by Lee Hamilton and Gov. Kean.
The two committee chairs criticized the ommissions in the 9/11 report. they stopped short of calling Rummy and Bushco liars. Lou wanted to call a spade a spade.

20. Sorry, I missed the title. The woman who introduced the book on
Lou's show made it sound worth reading. Lou was getting upset about the many ommissions and dodges the the administration was guilty of.

He was careful to use "government lied" and not "administration".

The show should repeat later. check the CNN listings.
