Why would NYC, the #1 terrorist target, vote for Kerry?
Seems to me that they were worried about their safety and security.

Why doesn't somebody ask Mr. Snow that one?

1. It's a common misconception, that - NY is barely on the map as terror goes
We have no national monuments or prominent landmarks of any concern here.

2. That's a good question and NYC voted by over 80% for him
Don't New Yorkers realize that only Bush can save them?

4. Guess that they are all suicidal.
Is that what *co wants us to believe?

NYC (you know, the scene of the crime) seems to have the highest % of folks who don't believe the official gov't version of the events of 911. hmmm.

12. Maybe because New York City always
votes Democratic by overwhelming numbers.

Here's the 1984 vote by borough. This is the election where Reagan won 49 states, including New York.

Brooklyn

Reagan 230,000
Mondale 368,000

Manhattan

Reagan 144,000
Mondale 379,000

Queens

Reagan 285,000
Mondale 328,000

Staten Island

Reagan 83,000
Mondale 44,000

Bronx

Reagan 109,000
Mondale 223,000

5. The people with the MOST to fear voted for someone who understood how to
counter real terrorism and address its root causes.

One candidate wrote a book warning about global terrorism in 1997, and closed down the terrorists' main banking facilitators in the early 90s, while the MEDIA lauded the other guy who was making MONEY off of his connections to the Bin Ladens at the time.

6. Absolutely.
And lacking a real media to point those things out, are we really a democracy?

8. New York City folk are a hearty, brave bunch.
They're smart, too.

Kerry's a far better match for their spirits than that puke George W. Bush.

Tony Snow is a smooth-talking liar.

10. Here is their lame excuse
I once raised this question (I also pointed out Washington D.C.'s heavily pro-Kerry vote) to right-wingers and their excuse was "all those people on welfare" voted for Kerry. :eyes:
