A week before the election Lamont had a 13-point lead. But according to Quinnipiac Poll it closed to six -points the day before the primary. A CBS News exit poll says that among primary voters who made up their minds in the last week--they chose Lieberman by a 54-44 percent margin over Lamont. My feeling is that the Bill Clinton appearance was well timed and contributed greatly to Lieberman's comeback in the last week of the primary.
Now, I hope that a week before the election this November that Bill will pay another visit for a Lamont for Senate Rally.
