A democracy creates itself. No matter how much Bush thinks the voices in his head are real, they are NOT telling him to spread democracy across the middle east. I think they're really telling him to have another beer and some pretzels.

3. A greatest power of a democracy

is that it is ultimately up to the will of the people. Something Joe was painfully aware of last night. Lebanon had elections and is democratic by nature. It is just that foreign elements do not like whom the lebanese elected. Same as Palestine.

What nobody wants to talk about supporting the very pricniples of democracy if the people elect a group that does not jive with western ideals.
