Hank Johnson - what's your view of him?

I really haven't followed him, so I don't know. What I've read on DU so far about him isn't very hopeful.

Granted, I'm not exactly a Hank Johnson expert, but he seems like a solid progressive that will represent us with a lot more class than McKinney ever did.

DU does have certain rules about it.

so I don't really care. It's up to the Democratic voters of his district.

I'm concerned in that he's had financial problems in the past (not filing taxes), which I think, as a political figure, you should take into consideration when putting yourself into the limelight.
Also, I live in his district. Of course I'll support him in the election, even though I voted for his opponent yesterday.
(I hope that isn't bashing).
