Who will be the chair of the Homeland Security Committee if Lieberman gone

It seems that he would be the head if he stays (I or D). So, who would be head if he is gone?

1. He should be stripped of that chair NOW.

As well as any other committee memberships.

3. He should be out. He's no longer part of the Democratic Party.

So he should no longer hold any seats that are reserved for the Democratic Party.

But I don't know if they'll boot him yet, much less if they have a replacement lined up.

4. I didn't know he was head of homeland security

If he was head, when Katrina happened, then he didn't make the Katrina area secure. I know it was a hurricane, but if it had been bombed the result would have been as tragic. Even the emergency phones couldn't be used to contact the right people like police/fire/ambulance.

That is just one more reason to be glad he didn't win.
