Joe Lieberman was on Bill Bennett's radio show this morning, attacking
Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, specifically for supporting Ned Lamont.

I purposely turned the tv off last night because I didn't want to hear any more GOP "agonizing" over Lieberman.

When I heard him on the radio this morning, I see I made the right decision.

Their rhetoric does not, and did not, match reality.

Joe left us a very long time ago.

Good bye to bad rubbish.

We need to purge our party of all like him.

2. Why single out Sharpton and Jackson?
I'm sure Joey knows that Hillary, Dodd, and Shumer (among many other white former supporters) have abandoned him this morning. It's almost like he wanted to get the names Sharpton and Jackson out there for Bennett's audiences for some reason... what could it be?

7. I can understand singling out Al Sharpton
Why are any Democrats letting this race-card-playing con man associate himself with them?

17. Because Double-down Bennett's audience wouldn't know Lowell Wicker
Despite the national attention, this is still a CT election. Thus, from a purely political viewpoint, pushing Lowell Wicker's presence and support for Lamont would do much more damage here in CT than the two guys who have hosted Saturday Night Live.

22. He also added Maxine waters and he said..
that the dems are not the mainstream of america by having these people there, so he believes that blacks aren't americans. He seems to find them just fine if they are campaigning for him or in other words he can use them as bush uses: Armstrong Williams, Jesse Peterson, and other blacks to portray them as the good blacks.

5. Loserman's going to his base
Hardcore wingnuts that would listen to someone as boring as Bennett on Salem facist talk stations.

Seems Bennett would have more in common with the Republican in the race, Alan Whatshisname. They can share gambling tips.

11. Yes, Indeed!
"We need to purge our party of all like him."

My husband and I said to each other this morning that we hope this is just the first of many defeats of incumbent DINO's.

The Democrats need to move back from the right and take a strong stand on issues that effect average Americans. I have watched the DEMS move further and further to the right. This started when Reagan was elected - 26 years ago! Just look at where our country is today. I can't imagine anyone saying that we are better off today than we were then.

15. bull. THIS IS GOOD NEWS, FOLKS!
Joe is making himself out to be a fool.

CT just had a long, trying, and exhausting election campaign. It is hard on the public and they want peace and quiet afterwards. They are tired of electons. You get a poor loser on the air, and treating it as though the election is next week, not 3 months away, and they will HATE THE MESSENGER. Here, the messenger is Joe - and the message is "I am so important that you cannot live without me."

The longer, louder and more aggressively Joementum makes noise, the more insignificant he will be in november.

Hell, let's applaud every time we see him. Because he looks as petulant as Bush at the moment.
