Kos: Who will stand with the Democratic nominee? Updating the list...
Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh -- who, like Lieberman, has close ties to moderates within the party but is considering a 2008 presidential bid -- quickly announced he would support Lamont.

<snip>

Meanwhile, C&L reports Hillary is putting her money behind Lamont: A check from Hillary Clinton’s HILLPAC is being cut to Ned Lamont for five thousand dollars. She’s the first one to be counted on and make good on her promise to support the winner of the Connecticut primary. We can only hope that the rest of the Democratic Party stands behind Ned in his bid to win the Senate seat.

<snip>

Rahm slams Lieberman. Hard. “This shows what blind loyalty to George Bush and being his love child means,” said Representative Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, the leader of the Democratic House Congressional campaign. “This is not about the war. It’s blind loyalty to Bush.”

<snip>

Update III: Edwards is also on it. Mr. Lamont said that former Senator John Edwards, the Democrats’ vice presidential nominee in 2004, was the first Democratic leader to call him last night.

2. Wow, I hope this list keeps growing.
I am not surprised to "hear" John Edwards was the first to call, not one bit. :)

3. Senator John Edwards knows when he sees a
"man of the people." I'm glad John Edwards was the first Democratic Leader to congratulate Lamont on his win. :-)

This is the first true time that I actually FEEL HOPE since the death of Paul Wellstone. Since then, it seemed to be one well orchestrated Right Wing Dirty Trick after another. And most of the forgoing efforts of Rove-Co were proving to be effective.

Let this grass roots movement mark a sea of change to WIN BACK our Democratic Republic. :patriot:

Better be careful there.

Good to see Hillary's putting her money where her mouth is.

8. Hilary might have sent him money, but she is saying publicly that
she will support the winner of the primary and has come out in favor of Lamont since last night.
