So now that we have a multi-million dollar
telecommunications guy as our savior, how is the aristocracy holding up today?

2. "Aristocracy" If he wins the general election the meter
will start running, but for me it just feels like a win. And i really needed a win just to keep my sanity, and Ned was the guy. I don't live in Conn, so i had no say in the election but i want to thank to good people of Conn, for giving me a reason to keep going.

3. Notice how the MSM can't say Lamont without prefacing it with
the word "millionaire". Why don't they do that for all the millionaire republican candidates?

5. Lieberman is a millionaire.
Lamont is a "milti" millionaire and we can't have Joe losing to a multi-millionaire, can we? :sarcasm:

6. They should do it for all candidates.
We the People are represented by mostly millionaires. We must reclaim our electoral process through clean elections & paper ballots or we'll never be represented.

You are right of course, about their blatant bias.

4. that's kind of pissing on the parade
but I agree with you. If Lamont had not been able to self finance, he would be in the same position that Tasani in New York is. I'm not expecting Lamont to be that much different than Lieberman on most issues, but it can be hoped that should he win in November that he won't be the kind of rubber-stamping, french-kissing, business-first toady Liberman turned into.

However...Lieberman is such a self-serving piece of shit that I take nothing but joy in his defeat.

7. Mr. Cheney is worth close to a hundred million
and most of his employment has been in government service, and then there's George Bush who
is now worth 20 million, he had 8 years as governor, 6 years as Prez and before that?

8. So apparently you know absolutely nothing of his family background
The Lamont name is a well known and recognized name in Ct politics. He is no Johnnie come lately as the Media would have you believe. Did you know the entire Senate was made up of Millionaires?

9. That's why I asked about the aristocracy that governs us
Do we have to worry about their seat on the throne? I didn't say Lamont was special in terms of money. I didn't say he was the new kid on the block causing all kinds of anarchy in the corrupted halls of Washington DC. I'm just concerned for our wealthy overlords. Somebody has to worry, they're all making money, they're busy.
