US Is Still Using Airstrikes & Killing People In Iraq! *graphic*
No comment from the US Military. I wonder if this will go down the memory hole too. :(

An Iraqi man places the body of a young boy in a coffin, killed in a U.S.airstrike, in Baqouba, 60 kilometers (35 miles) northeast of Baghdad, Iraq, Wednesday Aug. 9, 2006. Four people were killed and 16 wounded in a U.S. airstrike late Tuesday, police said. There was no immediate comment from U.S. officials, but a mosque and nearby houses in the city were heavily damaged in the blast. (AP Photo/Adam Hadei)

1. We're going to see this savagery up to November
Even the most brain dead of voters (that would be the GOP) will be sick of it and will want a political change.

5. The US is the Occupying Power
There is no good reason for an OCCUPYING POWER to use airstrikes in a country they own and operate.

If they spent even half their time repairing infrastructure and putting the Iraqi people to work rebuilding their country, there would be no need to fight an 'insurgency'.

6. agree with one small nit...
If they HAD spent even half their time TWO YEARS AGO repairing infrastructure and putting the Iraqi people to work rebuilding their country, there would be no need to fight an 'insurgency'.

sigh.

7. 'We ALL' are funding and therefore indirectly supporting this........
great carnage. Doesn't look like any form of freedom and democracy to me. Does look like a blood thirsty neocon dictator's barbaric attacks. When will 'We ALL' put an end to it??

8. "Regrettable collateral damage." "Tragic mistake", "Terrorists",
"These things happen in war."
"We don't target civilians."
"Investigation."
"Faulty intelligence."
"Why can't we look at the good things happening?"
"It was a legal military objective."
"The pilots were under a lot of stress."
"We are protecting the people of Iraq."

How trippingly the words come off the tongues of the murderers.
