Bin Laden Tape Proves Strategy is Working

Today, a recorded message from what appears to be the voice of Osama bin Laden recognizes that the United States’ strategy of taking the fight to the enemy is working. In his statement, bin Laden clearly states:

The delay in similar operations happening in America has not been because of failure to break through your security measures. But the operations are happening in Baghdad and you will see them here at home the minute they are through (with preparations), with God’s permission.

This is an admission of great significance, because it proves that al-Qaeda’s operatives are on the defensive. Bin Laden’s transition from jihadist rhetoric to reasoning with the United States government is evidenced in his call for a ‘truce’ and it is a sign that we are winning the war. Now, more than ever, we must continue to stay on the offensive in Iraq and do what is necessary here at home to keep Americans safe. Mike

10. Osama is a good friend and great supporter of GWB*.

Bush's approval ratings are plummeting and and "TERRAH" trumps. OBL always shows up when America begins to rumble. He seems to have a vested interest in Bush's popularity.

He wants this war to go on and on.

Maybe
OBL is an idiot and warns his mortal enemies to shore up defenses in advance of an impending threat. Maybe he's stupid. (I don't think so.)

OBL is a prisoner in one of our ghost camps and he was tortured until he agreed to hint at some impending threat against the US.

George called OBL and asked him to intimate a threat against the US as a favor to an old friend.

Usually Al Qaeda vaguely mentions a big operation about six months before it takes place. Mr. Conaway is not exactly gambling his cred wisely.
