OPERATION STEALING THUNDER
Edited on Tue Aug-08-06 10:49 PM by julialnyc
Joementum has displayed an incredibly undignified show of sour grapes today and tonight. First the internet hacking claim... and then using his concession speech as a campaigning platform. BAD FORM! Both of these moves were thought of in advance knowing he would lose (quite different than what he was optimistically saying). Ned should get a big wave of attention from this win--- and if he doesn't something is fishy.

"Operation Stealing Thunder" is a second tier tactic in the war against Lamont in which one has to throw the normal rules of engagement out the window to thwart different type of enemy!! Joe believes in non traditional rules of engagement and he will play that way.

1. it is not working, is it?
I agree, between now and the votes being counted, expect the opposition to do the worst things they can, be the nastiest, hurt as many as they can in the hopes of winning.

4. I agree... how will he campaign?
I got messages on my machine last night and today where Joe was trying to sound anti-war (something to the effect of "because I did vote for this war and am upset with the way it has been handled I find it my duty to find the quickest way to bring the troops home").

Which group does he pander to now?

The anti-blogger community?

5. It will most certainly get nasty, brutal
Lieberman is bitchy and peeved about his loss. The Repugs are desperate to keep him in. The DLC defines anyone to the left of Republican right as extreme. And the MSM has taken sides, especially CNN (and of course, FAUX).

They've already started with the hacking smear and it will continue to get worse.

We have to give as much support as we possibly can to Lamont. A message needs to be sent.

6. he does need our help....and right away to help his momentum roll
by writing into to news channels saying how happy we are about Lamont, so that Joe's indie run and computer story don't push Ned out of the picture.
