13. *Hopefully*, the CT papers will cover the speeches ...
... in tomorrow's papers, and will highlight the difference in tone and content. Lieberman looked the petty, hapless, entitled sore loser; and Lamont was an energized, direct reformist.

4. Lieberman Ingratious; Lamont Magnanimous/Class Act.
The two aren't even to be compared. I can scarcely believe that old saucebag Lieberman was ever allowed to represent anyone for more than one term (if that).

12. Lieberman asks Americans to tell him why he should be in the Senate

My take on tonight's CT speeches...

Lieberman:
- makes no mention of any specific reasons why he should be sent back to Washington, other than that he'd play nicer with those on the other side of the aisle.
- decries partisan bickering, then whines about his "hacked" website. Petty little loser.
- actually has the cluelessness to ask Americans to contact him with ideas on what he should do in Washington. If a guy who's been in Washington for 18 years, and just finished a Primary campaign, doesn't know why he should be in Washington -- then he SHOULD NOT BE THERE. Period.

Lamont:
- Starts right off mentioning several important issues that he's looking to address in Washington (IIRC, Iraq, debt, jobs, ??)
- Genial and respectful to Lieberman. No ill words or tone.
