Hot damn.
I never, never would have expected this going in. I thought for sure a couple months ago that Lieberman would win in a walk. I thought for sure people here were setting themselves up for a big disappointment. Even a week ago I wasn't counting on anything despite Lamont being up 13 points in the polls.

It actually happened. I'm kind of speechless. Bye Joementum. I guess the voters of CT are less idiotically in love with you than I thought.

As for the indie run, I suspect we're going to see the support drop out from under Lieberman now. He's a certified loser, and he's alienated a lot of people who used to support him. With a three way race a reality, I think people will become a little more serious and less likely to support an independent run. Then the question becomes whether the Republican, Alan whatshisname, picks up any significant traction with the independents, conservative Dems, and liberal Repubs.
