I'm Connecticut Democrat. I have been a Connecticut Democrat since I was 18 years old. I voted for Lamont today, but if he had lost, I would have supported Lieberman come November. I'm a Democrat first and foremost and support my party and it's ideals.

I urge all Democratic leaders to come out and support today's winner of our party's primary. What is going on usurps the will of the voters and is quite simply WRONG.

9. Kerry has issued a statement supporting Lamont.

Everyone else must take his lead and tell Lieberman he's on his own. None of this "independent Democrat" bullshit. Lieberman lost and if he were a true Democrat, he'd graciously bow out and support Lamont.
