Hi My Name Is ReadMoreOften and I'm running for Senator of the good state of Connecticut. My party is the Trivial Fascist Democratic Party.

Here's where I stand on the issues:

1) As a Trivial Fascist Democrat, I believe that Connecticutians-- or however you say it--should all be forced to eat brown rice because there's this brown rice company that says they'll give me money if I shill for them. Plus it's good for you.

2) I'm running on a free-beer-and-tampons platform. Many Americans are alcoholics and the only thing that makes them feel better is alcohol. I believe in health care, so I believe in the old-fashioned remedy of alcohol for the alcoholic. Come on those old crusty wino bastards last forever. And they'll vote for ya if you give 'em $10. Free tampons are a given.

3) I'm a strong moral values candidate. All citizens will be given a bat. You will use this bat to beat your neighbors over the head. Especially if they're litterbugs. The Trivial Fascist Party is staunchly opposed to litterbugs.

4) We are a party that values our scared-- I mean scared-- Christian heritage. We prefer Mary Worship, actually. All citizens will be expected to find visions of the Virgin in their households. At least one per vision per household per day. Mary wants us to open our eyes and our hearts.

5) All children will be given free government slinkies.

6) All children who don't play with their slinkies will be punished.

7) Finally, all of these wonderful reforms will take place inside an enormous steel gulag wrapped in concertina wire.


I'm not a resident of Connecticut. But fuck protocol, right? I refuse to concede. I'm a fighter. I have readmoreoften-mentum.

And the TFDM (Trivial Fascist Democratic Party) has EXACTLY the same relationship to the Democratic Party as Joe Lieberman's "Independent Democrat" Party does: NO FUCKING RELATION AT ALL!
