Dear Bill Clinton,
You said if Lieberman ran as an independent, you would not support him. You would only support the candidate who won the primary. Well, that would be Ned Lamont. If Lieberman runs as independent, I expect you to go out and campaign for Lamont.

5. No He Hasn't And Until I See 100% Counted.... I'm Holding My
breath! This is much closer than I thought. I can't stand it, especially because without a BLOW-OUT, Joe Lie is going to play it for all it's worth & I doubt we can expect that the Democrats of the past 6 years are up to "doing the right thing!" I can't believe how Lanny Davis is "humping his ass" for all it's worth for JOE!

Oh, please Ned, I'm really rooting for you, way down here in Florida! I even made calls for you!

Hang in ther!!

8. You know...
Mature people can become friends despite political differences....

Ronald Reagan and Tip O'Neil

Jimmy Carter and Gerald FOrd

To name a couple...it means precisely NOTHING...

Lamont supporters are always pointing out how there is absolutely nothing wrong with supporting your candidate of choice in the primary...and this is what he did.

Why would you have a problem with that now...

And again I ask...when has Bill Clinton ever not supported the Democratic nominee?

10. Maybe Bush I was kissing up to the Big Dog?
And maybe he was supporting who he thought would win? That Joe would pull a comeback? Maybe not a great answer, but a pragmatic one.

Or maybe he thought that he owed Gore/Lieberman a favor for failing to support them in 2000? Maybe he thought that it doesn't make a difference if Joe wins or loses, as long as he pays his dues?

Or maybe he can campaing TOMORROW in CT, claiming that the Republican is Evil, Joe isn't that bad, and "Lamont and Democracy" are just great, and still be loved internationally?
