An Observation On Lamont's Slipping Lead
I notice his lead is slipping as a percentage of the vote as the night goes on but I've also noted this; his lead continues at about 6,000 votes. It seems to have got to that point and as more precincts report in the additional vote count seems to be about 50/50. So Lamont retains a 6,000 vote lead. Just something I seemed to have noticed, didn't write down the numbers or anything.

6. they are expected to go Lieberman
One reason Lamont people were happy early is that city turnout was lower than suburban turnout.

3. It was almost a 9,000 vote lead - and slips just a bit with each update.
At this rate, its too early to tell. But I'm betting on a Lamont win.

Still plenty of time for the machine to "pull out" a LIE-berman win
If Lieberman wins, something's definitely going on. No way Lamont should lose such a big lead.
