Look, folks.. I know everyone wants a blowout by Lamont, but...

The fact of the matter is that he is an upstart candidate trying to unseat a long-entrenched incumbent, who has strong ties to just about every establishment organization in the state.

ANY win by Lamont is a huge win. Let's just keep hoping.

5. Yep
This was a longshot to begin with.

It's just that Joe has made himself so hated, that he's in as bad shape as he is. Incumbents are supposed to be well...incumbents. They should rarely face a strong challenger (so goes the established politicians' logic).

7. In many respects Ted Lamont has already won.
It just that it will hurt so bad to come this far and still see asshat bushkisser win.

12. Great minds think alike!
Just a few short months ago Ned Lamont had no name recognition whatsoever. Any win by him will be a big win.

13. A 3+% win is a win. Lieberman LOST.
He will no longer be our Senator, and he can't call himself a Democrat if he usurps his party's voters. If he runs (I) he is a traitor and a selfish bastard.

14. That is so true...
... coupled with the evidence that lots of Repukes were switching their registration to Dem to vote in this primary - this could have easily gone the other way.

This is a HUGE WIN!

15. When you consider that Lamont had not only
Lieberman to run against but also the entire Democratic establishment and MSM against him and trying their damndest to get a Lieberman win, it really is amazing. This was not a fair competition by any means so the fact that he could pull it off at all is just amazing!
