Interesting gas prices I noticed this evening
I pass several gas stations on my commute to and from work. All of them, except one, was selling regular for $3.059 except one. The exception? The only BP station I pass on my drive, they were selling gas for $2.959. I wondered if BP is trying to look like they're not gouging? If so, it's not working, I'll pay the extra .10 per gallon and take my business elsewhere.

It's especially interesting given the report on Countdown tonight about the investigation of criminal negligence in BP's maintenance of the Alaska pipeline.

3. I'm in the Minneapolis burbs
I've heard it's worse on both coasts, but I did hear we're about the highest for the midwest. I wonder if some of the difference is gas taxes? I'm not sure what ours are, but they haven't raised it in years.

6. No more BP for me either.
I've been buying at Citgo lately anyway, but BP is now in the same boat as Exxon/Mobil in my book.
