Let's remember why it's vital we send a message to Dems in Congress today about what it REALLY means to be an American.

"We undermine the president's credibility at our nation's peril." - Joe Lieberman

"The Iraqi dictator must not be permitted to threaten America and the world with horrible poisons and diseases and gases and atomic weapons."
-- George Bush, Oct. 7, 2002

2. Absolute hell!
How the Iraqi people don't go batshit out of their minds with fear, grief, anger, and despair is beyond me. I can't even begin to imagine what life in that hellhole is like.

9. His victory speech last night was SO refreshing
Strong but humble.

Took on lobbyists and their clench on our government.

And his RESPECT line....wow, such a breath of fresh air.

10. Recommended.
And remember we are currently doing bombing raids over Sadr City section of Baghdad as part of our security measures. Not all the bombs going off in Iraq are from insurgents. Some have the Made in the USA label.

12. K&R - Don't let Lebanon distract you from the real crises.
Our troops are in harms way and we are bankrupting the country to keep them there.

And it was all based on lies. We're the world's bully. The new Roman Empire, with mercenaries and legionaires all over the world.

And we know what happened to that Empire once their leaders started building Golden Palaces and using their taxes to party. Remember how Caeser had the priests release the birds? Kind of similar to the mega-churches backing extreme candidates. Once Caeser crossed that Rubicon, the Republic was done. We crossed the Rubicon back in 2000.

The only question know if when, not if.

13. we are not bankrupting ourselves to keep them there
Edited on Wed Aug-09-06 11:11 AM by MissWaverly
this war is a ruse to feed the ominpotent defense contractors for obselete equipment that our
soldiers will never use, while they go into battle with poor equipment, and the contractors
keep the padded contracts while silently providing kickbacks to the GOP, this is as much
about maintaining the GOP as the single party as Tom DeLay's PACS. Follow the money.
