HARTFORD, Connecticut (Reuters) - Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman (news, bio, voting record) fought for his political survival on Tuesday in a Democratic Party showdown over the former vice presidential candidate's support for the Iraq war and President George W. Bush.
