Ya gotta dig Maxine Waters

She has a long memory (still pissed about 2000), and she fights for progressive ideas. Her appearance on Tweety's show just reflected (imo) the core values that this website and good Democrats show. She closed with Tweety by stating that Lieberman is everything that's wrong with the Democratic party, and that Lamont is everything that is right with the party.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure glad Maxine is on our side. She represents my views to a T, and she represents everything that is good about our country.

You rock, Maxine.

That was key to my thread. Going to Connecticut to campaign for Lamont just shows her dedication in fighting for what is right.

9. I LOVE MAXINE

I became aware of her during the impeachment hearings. I got to meet and hug her at a rally against the Clinton impeachment. It was a very small group at the Capitol. She spoke and when it was over I went up to her and THANKED her for all she had been doing and then I asked her if I could hug her and she agreed and I did. And on a girly note she is a fabulous dresser - I suspect she is a clothes horse and had the most awesome shoes on that day - so there Condi - lol

That same day Representative Delahunt from MA actually saved me from getting hit by a car

Also turned out I was on CSPAN that day because I got a call from my mother who said shouldn't you have been at work today!!!! LOL

It was quite a day!!!!
