Tweety is handling New Haven crowd quite well.
He even has Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) there to speak for Lamont.

Crowd is very respectful. Both Lamont and Lieberman viewpoints represented. Will continue to watch it as long as it's like this.

Just thought people would want to know this. Normally I can't stand WiffleBall with Tweety, but this isn't too bad.

Can't wait for Olbermann.

I love New Haven. I work and play there. Heading down there around nine and go to my fave watering hole to watch results.

3. Believe it or not - this is the first time I have ever seen Jim Dean. I
don't think he looks like Howard - they do sound alike though.

11. Too bad Toad's Place is gone.
It would have made a great place for a Lamont party.

It's right where has always been. It's my favorite rock Club in CT. The Pizza next door is to die for too. MMMMMM!

17. That's great news!
I had heard it was gone. I haven't been there in quite a while, but I have been there many times when bands I worked for played there.

Once, I was in the dressing room and Ian Hunter walked in. I shat myself. ;-)

13. Toad's is still alive and kicking.
It's a cool place even though it smells. Seriously, it always stinks in that place.

14. LOL
Lots of groupies and spilled beer. I played that place once and actually got one of the infamous "band rooms". It was so freakin cool, I felt like a rock star. Even if only 10 people watched us play during our shitty 7pm timeslot.

Good for you!

I am not a big "band" fan. I only go to Toad's when they have their dance party nights. I haven't been in awhile though.

22. I have contributed many spilled drinks myself.
Luckily no barf though. Although I bet I know people who did. I really dig that place. It feels like a museum/rock club.

23. Jeebus...It's hard to explain.
The things, the people, the incredible nights of music, the illicit sex that has taken place in the bathrooms and the storerooms, all that has made the history of the place. ;-)

He was so nice to us I will never forget it.

But, you're right, that place has always smelled.

27. I used to work for a band called "Blackfoot".
At one time, they lived on a farm outside of Princeton NJ, and would have a regular jam session on Tuesday night. One night this scruffy guitar player, with big hair, from Freehold NJ came out to the farm to jam.

Guess who.

Yes, he was playing that Esquire back then, too.
