100 British MPs to demand recall of parliament (ME conflict)

LONDON (AFP) - As many as 100 British members of Parliament, most of them from the governing Labour Party, are to demand that parliament is re-called immediately amid concern over the government's strategy to end the conflict in the Middle East, The Guardian reported.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair's government has been criticised for failing to call for an immediate ceasefire to the conflict between Israel and the Shiite militia Hezbollah.

The lower House of Commons and upper House of Lords are in their annual recess until October 9.

The newspaper said the demand is likely to be made in the next two days, with the organisers apparently in discussion with smaller opposition parties including the Liberal Democrat Party and Scottish National Party.

5. No doubt our courageous "leaders" will do the same.
As soon as they're done applauding the carnage perpetrated by the IDF.
