I contacted her office when she said she was going and was promised by letter that she would support the people's choice with Joe understanding that too.
The office was surprised on the news listed below.

SuperTuesday

Hartford Courant columnist/ex-GOP state legislator Kevin F. Rennie will be contributing exclusive dispatches from Connecticut throughout the evening.

Democratic primary voter turnout was varying between 20%-25% by 1pm in communities around Connecticut. Towns with a direct interest in the primaries, with ties one of the candidates or an ethnic affinity, were at the upper end. Local election officials expect a final burst of voters to appear between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Most of Connecticut’s 169 municipalities will not, at the current rate, reach a turnout of more than 35%.

Lieberman is prepared to file nearly 20,000 signatures tomorrow to secure an independent place on the ballot in November. He understands that many familiar Democrats will abandon him if he loses tonight, no matter what the margin. A call from Bill Clinton is likely and will not succeed in chasing Lieberman from the race.

TELL HER TO CALL HIM AND SAY WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID.

1. Does It Really Matter?
I expect 3 things with Absolute 100% Certainty.

1. Lamont Will Win Handily.

2. Boxer And Many Democratic Leaders Will Support Lamont, Call For Lieberman To Concede Gracefully.

3. Lieberman Will Say, "Who Cares," And Run As Independent Anyways.

Go easy on Barbara. She gets it. She won't betray her party, or the voters of Connecticut. But that won't have any effect on Lieberman doing what's best for Lieberman, regardless of what his Democratic friends might think.

4.  I know she gets it but her office was unaware of the news
and said so.
She has clout and her voice is your voice and my voice.
They said that she would before he files.

5. Her Office Staff Are Oblivious
They're just there to answer the phones and take comments, etc. I venture that we know more about what's going on than any of her "staff."

It doesn't matter whether she calls him this afternoon, tonight, or if she blocks the door to the election office tomorrow to prevent him from filing as an independent. HE IS GOING TO DO WHAT HE WANTS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT HIS FORMER "DEMOCRATIC" FRIENDS HAVE TO SAY.

Boxer will be good to her word though. She may not campaign for Lamont, but she certainly won't do so for Lieberman, and she'll likely call for him to concede and withdraw. But again, that won't mean a damn thing to ol' Joe. He's going to file regardless, if that's what Joe wants to do.

3. Why Am I The Only Person?
Why am I the only person who thinks that it's crazy that Reid and Schumer have refused to say that the DSCC (Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee) will definitely back the winner of today's Democratic primary? It's utterly insane! Maybe they can pick a new name for the commitee?
