Prediction: Lieberman (I - Asshat) will implode.
After watching Lieberman's performance against Lamont, including yesterdays arrogant statements and today's pathetic idiocy, I here and now predict that if Joe chooses to run against the Democratic candidate his campaign will continue its implosion and he will lose badly in November.

7. His office phones will be ringing off the hook
should Lamont win today. I will call everyday, many times and ask that Joe bow out.

4. He would take enough votes to assure a Republicon victory.
He knows this, too.

11. The rep candidate is even more of a joke.
That turd is polling between 10-20%, which in a three way race will not get you over the top, last time I looked.

14. If Lamont wins, today--and I hope he does--and Lieberman runs...
...anyway, we'll have to see how much money the RNC funnels into the race. They may decide to focus their resources elsewhere but we'd better pay attention, if they start smearing Lamont and propping up Joe.

Frankly, I'd be amazed if they didn't do everything they could think of to exploit a three way race. And, if Lamont wins, I'm willing to bet that they'll work very hard to convince Joe to run in November.

The sorry stunt he pulled today was the last nail in Liebershit's coffin.

8. I don't think he'll run as an Ind. if he looses tonight.
All that "I'm covering my bases and I'll be on the ballot in Nov." talk has been GONE for about 2 weeks now. I've heard Joe interviewed on quite a few radio shows and on TV, and the story now is "I'm going to win on Tues, so I'm not even thinking about another run."

Unless he only looses by a very narrow margin, I think he intends to bow out.

13. But he can keep all that $$, and not have to go through the
grueling difficulty of another campaign. I guess we'll see tonight.

10. I'd say the implosion has been happening for awhile already.
When Lamont announced, darn few of us thought he was anything
but a symbolic 'protest candidate'.
There was little chance he would have gotten more than 20%
of the primary vote.

But JOE turned him into a serious contender. He handed
Lamont an extra half percent everytime he opened his
arrogant, condescending mouth and vomited RepubliGanda
all over his constituency.

And he opened it A LOT.

12. He'd better not just 'bow out.' He needs to suck up his pride and
throw his support to Lamont. And fake a little sincerity while he's at it.
