Lamont campaign manager offers tech support for Joe.

So Tom Swan, Ned Lamont’s campaign manager, has just offered to send a technician to Lieberman headquarters to help fix its campaign web site.

Mr. Swan, a bit more seriously, said that Ned will denounce the alleged hacking into the Lieberman site during a public appearance this afternoon. This comes after the Lieberman campaign accused its political opponents of collapsing its Web site and announcing plans to file a formal complaint with state and federal officials over it.

Dan Gerstein, a Lieberman adviser, said it was too soon to say if the campaign might try to invalidate the primary results based on a charge of voter suppression.

Joe, meanwhile, has cancelled the last two events of his 10-day bus tour this afternoon because there were not many voters at the polling stations. So he’s going back to headquarters to call mayors, union leaders, and other allies, aides said.

cont'd...

Edited for not having my reading glasses on:

A website being down wouldn't change the way someone votes. I just hope they (Lieberman's campaign) don't try and invalidate based on this or it would look very stupid.

3. Invalidate the results?
Because of a website being down.

Shit, we need to invalidate that results of Mondale vs. Hart in 1984 then.

10. Just wait: If Lieberman loses, then we'll see the gnashing and
wailing of the Brooks Brothers Redux Revolution, demanding that the primary be invalidated because a freakin' website was down.

11. Voter suppression???
That's the best they could do??? What the fuck was I worried about? They've got it in the bag! They hacked our website, so the voters were suppressed, so the primary is invalid! The fix is in, folks!

If THIS is how Dems rig elections, we're totally and completely screwed in 2008. Game over.

13. "there were not many voters at the polling stations" That means that there
were not many voters where Joe thought he would have good photo-ops. That is particularly telling in light of the higher than expected turnout in other (?pro-Lamont) precincts.

14. Very telling, indeed.
And what's with this:

"So he’s going back to headquarters to call mayors, union leaders, and other allies, aides said."

Who is going to help at this point?

Or should I not be surprised?
