1. Also, examine Lieberman's record closely
http://www.progressivepunch.org/members.jsp?search=selectName&member=CTI&chamber=Senate&zip=&x=19&y=12

His records on labor issues, war issues, and business related issues will be what sink him if he goes, that and the KISS.

The rest of his record is a good one.

3. you forgot the road show he did with Bennett 'bout evil video games
like Mortal Kombat and Grand Theft Auto - along with his bilge on the record industry. That isn't "good" either.

and there were those negative comments about affirmative action, his waffling on Social Security, and his suggestion rape victims can just take a cab to a hospital where they can get contraceptives if they can't get them at the hospital they are at.

other than that, he's perfect.

5. I'm far, far away from Connecticut
and I'm afraid I haven't kept up with all those gaffes. I rely on voting records sites. You're right, though, they're terrible, especially that last one.

He's clearly been in DC too long. It's time to get re educated by us peasants.

If Lamont turns out to be a typical rich man and a stinker, maybe a chastened and improved Lieberman can run in 2012.

There are still far worse Senators, like the two Nelsons.

From your mouth to God's ears. Couldn't agree more. Time to turn this republic back over to the people.
