Here's the Real Questions to Ask Yourself before Voting in Conn.
Fact: Lieberman not only voted for the War in Iraq in 2003. After all, many Dems did because of the hysterical lies that the Bush Administration conjured up in the lead-up to that war. However, even after the lies were exposed and the strategy humiliated, Joe the Asshole continued his unwavering support for Bush.

Fact: This is not the only sell-out by Lieberman. He not only voted for NAFTA (after all, many Dems did the same) and free trade, but even after those lies were exposed and our jobs were outsourced, he stood by and became one of only 13 Dem Senators to support CAFTA against the AFL-CIO objections.

Fact: He stood with George Bush during the Dubai Port Deal, when even Speaker Hastert, Senators Schumer and Clinton, right-wing talk show hosts and Air-America were all in agreement that that deal was an embarrassment for the Administration. Here is a case when Bush lost not only Dems, but repugs as well, and there was "lap-dog Joe" heeling his master.

Fact: Lieberman supported the administration on the Schiavo intrusion as well as changing the Bankruptcy laws that put so many in the middle class at risk of losing there homes.

So, here's the question. If every Democrat in office were like Joe Lieberman would we even have a two party system?

If every Democrat in office were like Ned Lamont, wouldn't that be a more vigorous two-party system?

This election reminds me of a bumper sticker I once saw which read, "Third Party? I'll settle for a second one."

1. Holly Joe misjudged which way the political wind was blowing.
Even in the election 2000 debates he bent over backward to prove to everyone that he and the Democrats were nothing but GOP lite. He has not wavered from that course. It's too late now to try and differentiate himself.

Joe is a symbol to the disgruntled Democratic base. He's the whipping boy for all that has gone wrong for the Democrats since election 2000. If he goes down the party will unite for 2006 and beyond. If he wins the party may be bitterly split and things could get ugly in the Democratic party.

2. I agree with you 100 percent
A lieberman win would be very, very ugly for the party. If Joe "wins" a tight race he should forefit for the good of the democratic party. We just have too much at stake here to let the Dino win.
