For someone who loves polics, election day itself is nerve racking
because it is out of your hands

Did you knock on enough doors, call that extra number?

Get enough people to the polls?

Can you honestly say you did enough?

As a MA resident who attended a grassroots meeting tonight for Deval Patrick, I have more than half my attention on CT right now and I would just like to thank the 34% of Democratic activists in CT who were willing to publicly support Ned Lamont at the CT Democratic State Convention in May which really catapulted Lamont to this point - they got his name on the ballot and gave instant legitimacy to his candidacy.

I have read more than one post on the CT blogs which told of other "institutional activist" Democrats who only wished the ballot at the State Convention had been a secret one Lieberman might have lost then- if had been a secret ballot

But now Lieberman is willing to settle for the pity vote

My advice -Never vote for anyone out of pity

Pathetic way to get elected to public office
