Sure, such picture sucks. But we only show them when it benefits our view of the universe. If such photos were around when saddam was in power, we would ignore them here.

If they were from Hizbollah strikes, we would say it is because Israel is at fault and they made this happen.

Where were WE during the saddam years in power? Were we protesting him peacefully trying to bring about change there? Did we plaster such photos on the web? No?

Amazing to me how we are so quick to point out our wrongs and similar democracy's wrongs but so slow to point out any one elses.

Kids in NK, Africa, et al are in pain too. And let's not forget Iran. But if we were able to get pics from there, who here would show them anyway?

The pain does suck - all the way around. Sadly we seem to only care when it props up our ideals, and hence we use it to prove a political point.

How many kids were saved today by christians spending their money and time to help them? Who cares, christians suck and only want to promote their god. Tons of kids the world over are suffering, and the ones we cling to here are the ones that help us in a political way.
