Oil is thru the roof, the ME is a vast sea of shit, and Dumbya continues to screw the pooch, but
at least I don't have to see Johnny Hart's fundie bullshit when I read the most relevant section of my
favorite dinosaur blog.

4. Johnny Hart is pretty well known as a fundie.

He says that he believes that unless you believe Jesus saved you from sin you're going to hell, and he doesn't care who knows it.

He created a lot of flak a few years back by drawing an Easter cartoon in which a menorah gets zapped by a bolt of lighting and the bolt of lighting turns it into a cross.

10. I think the comics editor must be having a mental breakdown

For the last few months they have been continually messing with the comics, swapping cartoons in and out without rhyme or reason. It would be OK if the new ones were some kind of improvement, but most of them look like they are drawn by kindergartners and are decidedly un-funny. The comic pages just haven't been the same since Calvin and Hobbs went away.
