2. There is an odor.
The race tightened very quickly, one could even say "miraculously", over the past couple of days. I've said it elsewhere on these boards--when a race is "close", can you really be sure of the authenticity of the vote? And why would it become "close" so quickly, so close to the election?

4. I think a lot of Republicans switched registration to vote for Liberman
making it look like more Dems are voting for him.

5. They would have had to do that in May.
If there is a change in the polls being taken in the last few days, it has nothing to do with Republicans. Unless they switched their registration in May, they can't vote in this Dem primary.

6. What kind of voting system in CT?
* says he doesn't pay attention to polls. I believe the administration watches the polls like a hawk and adjust the voting results so we can start the I don't believe in polls vicious circle all over again!

9. It looked to me like the GOP took a disturbingly serious...
...interest in this primary battle several weeks ago. I think they've already given their assurances to Joementum that he has nothing to worry about.

For rank and file Dems to somehow get the idea that we can actually replace DLC, status quo, pro war, pro Bush, spineless, leadership with REAL leadership frightens them, and they're simply not going to allow it. They're going to play the Diebold card for Lieberman.

I could be wrong, and certainly hope I am.
