New update on Stamford happenings.
Whoever the mystery person is, he/she showed up shortly after noon.

Liberman has a huge hole in his schedule, from shortly after 12 noon to 5:20 pm.

Updates are at: http://connecticutblog.blogspot.com/

2. Al doesn't have Secret Service protection.
He was on the Daily Show a while back and said he lost that shortly after Bush/Cheney were sworn in.

4. I think Al still has Secret Service - just not the "entourage" he had
while VP. The number of Secret Service agents drops from dozens to a few - I thought - when the VP leaves office.

3. Betcha it's the Big Dog....
In 1997, Congressional legislation became effective limiting Secret Service protection to former Presidents for a period of not more than 10 years from the date the President leaves office. (Public Law 103-329)

http://www.secretservice.gov/faq.shtml#authorized

He has protection until 2010...

9. First, that is GOP. Second, does the American public even know who he is?
So they say, in and out. Sound bite politics.

Lieberman support in the polls doesn't change. What it is is what it is.
