McGavick lastest victim of poisonous politics
--snip--
"McGavick instantly became "lobbyist Mike" in state Democrats' news releases. Last week he faced a highly politicized lawsuit charging that he and the company agreed to "an illegal giveaway of Safeco assets."

Vilification of McGavick, the most talented Senate candidate recruited by Republicans in 2006, stands as a model for the bipartisan tactics of debasement infecting American politics."

Wahhhhhhh! Poor babies, they dish it out but they can't take it! If it was about Cantwell through Rovian tactics it wouldn't be bad at all. All of us Dems need to learn how play nice. Yeah right, fuckin' right. Cut their fucking throats every chance we get! Teddy Stevens took McGavick to AK and had all his oily buddies pass the hat for good ol' picked on "Mac".

1. The fact that Safeco and McGavick apparently DID break the law...
Is totally and resolutely beside the point

3. If McGavick wins . . .
They can just rename the field the mariners play in to....

McGavick Field.

4. The fact that
he's so close to Stevens is enough reason to throw him under the bus right there.

5. What the hell is that nonsense?
That is one of the strangest Joel Connelley articles I've ever read, and he's written some oddities over the years. Pointless, meandering, wrong.
