Republicons are so angry about dems votin for lamont...
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 11:38 AM by butterfly77
they claim that this will bring the party more to the left ( which is a lie) they love to call us leftist and liberals so why are they so upset. They are campaigning for a so call dem and they wonder why the dems in conneticut and all over this country are against him. He jumps up and kisses bush and speaks up for a lot of his policies, what the hell do they expect. Leiberman was laughing while he let bush use him so he can laugh all the way to being a loser. The problem I have with this whole situation is that Dems and repugs seem to think that they own those seats and they should hold them to they die. Repubicons seem to be proving our point. Anytime I see repubs getting so angry about who we vote for I know we are on the right track.

3. Exactly....
I am very happy to see people get rid of him. He has turned his back on Dems by supporting the Neo-Nut agenda all across this country.

5. They can cry a river for Lieberman
Back when Zell was blowing smoke at the pukes convention, I saw righties in love with Zell. I told them they could have him and now they can have Joeblow. These clowns do our side no good.

8. If the righties defend them, they are not good for us
Hillary is next. Notice how the righties push her forward with a wink, wink, nod.
They think we are stupid and it just shows their ignorance.

6. they aren't really angry - they are just using their usual tactic
FEAR.
They want Dems to be afraid to vote for Lamont.
They want Dems to believe Lieberman would win as an independent anyway.
They want Dems to think that defeating Lieberman would kill the Democratic party.

They want Lieberman to win. He's the best guy on their team.

Too bad he's supposed to be on ours, eh Joe Benedict?

10. DING DING DING! Hfojvt, you're our grand prize winner!
Lieberman...(is)...the best guy on their team. Too bad he's supposed to be on ours, eh Joe Benedict?
It's funny how EVERYONE tends to forget that: It's about the voters and their votes. The public is getting mad as hell and aren't going to take it anyore. It's the Republicans who are scared.

By the way, don't forget the Rethug's OTHER their usual tactic: HUBRIS. I mean, only a Rethuglican would think that a Dem would take political advice from them on the first place?

11. they're angry because they're scared
in years past, they would have gloated about this result. They would have said it's further evidence that the democratic base is out of touch with the american public and that the democratic party is under the influence of out of touch elitists, etc.

But this is a bellwether case, and indicates not that democratic voters are tone deaf, etc. Rather, this election demonstrates how poorly the right-wing line on the war, etc. plays with the public these days.

That's why they're angry.

And it sure makes it fun to watch.
