Just a gas-prices-here survey thread....
Let's exploit the 'Net today for it's ability to enable us to share the views from our own respective locations....

I live in NYC, have no car, so I have no rate to offer...but please, let's get the ball rolling and try to get a comprehensive feel in one thread for what's really going on today in light of this pipeline closing and all....

SO...what are gasoline prices doing, today, where you are?

3. A bit over $3 in SE Pennsylvania (Coatesville, near Lancaster County)
Edited on Mon Aug-07-06 11:49 AM by bbernardini
I won't be going out in the next few days, but my wife may be able to provide some input later. We've actually elected to fly to our vacation in Maine this year instead of driving, because it's cheaper due to gas prices.

7. Davenport, IA here
right on the banks of the Mississippi River and it is $2.95.9/gallon at the lowest priced place I saw as of yesterday. Funny thing though, in Illinois which is right across the river, it is about five cents higher. The price may have jumped since yesterday as well. Haven't been out yet. And I need gas in the car. Yikes!

We generally have really cheap gasoline here - we barely got to about $3.10 right after Katrina.

19. I just paid $2.98 a gallon in SE Mass.
$40 to fill my tank. I could fill it for $10 when I bought this vehicle. I have two payments left on it, if I can afford the gas to keep it on the road, that is.
