Q: Is Leiberman poll gap closing to point where race can be Diebold'ed?
You may have noticed that in races where the outcome has come into question, the race has always been extremely close. Through the use of Republican dirty tricks... jamming phone banks, voter intimidation, too few voting machines, denial of provisional ballots, and ultimately outright electronic vote theft/fraud... we know that they can't steal/swing the results by more than 5%-6% without raising significant suspicion.

With recent news that the poll gap between Leiberman and Lamont is closing to now within 5 or 6 percentage points (depending on whose poll you read), might the stage be being set for a "stunning (Diebold) upset"?

---------------
On "Fox News Sunday", pundit Bill Kristol said Lieberman *should* run as an Independent if he loses, as he would get the "Independent and Republican vote". Isn't that EXACTLY why Lieberman is being rejected by Democratic voters? If he reflects the views of Indy and Repub voters more than Dems, then he needs to change his Party affiliation. Joe will happily agree to appear on "Hannity & Colmes" and other Right-Wing talk shows because he knows they support him, but refused to appear on Al Franken's show last week. If you're a Democrat that must think twice before being on a pro-Democrat radio show, but have no such reservation going on Fox and receiving the endorsements by the likes of Hannity, Coulter and Malkin, you need to start rethinking your Party affiliation.

1. There are no Diebold machines in Ct.
We are still using lever machines. For as long as I have lived here I have never heard of any irregularities in elections. I think the big question mark is how the 20,000 non affiliated people who registered as Democrats will vote.

2. Not Diebolded....
CT doesn't use Diebold. But other things?

3. Just a generic term for massive vote fraud.
Don't get hung up on the term.

Voter suppression doesn't require an electonic voting machine. If you even make it to the polls and vote, that doesn't mean they can't toss your ballot out.

Remember the "butterfly ballots" in Florida? Those weren't Diebold either.
