Is the Democratic party ready to take on the Military Industrial Complex?

This is a debate that I have had with freinds, and sadly the answer is no.

The Democratic party is just as guilty as the Republican party in playing to the fiddle of the big corporations and big wastefull spending of the military contracts for so many politicians.. that it has become the political 'crack' addiction in pork military spending that will be very hard to defeat.

And yet, it must be defeated. Whats your opinion?

take. Period. How many representatives do we have any more who are actually working class people? How many of them got there without being millionaires themselves first?

The MIC is the greatest cancer on our society right now.

It is simply a matter of getting the people to understand.

But every generation forgets the lessons of the previous.

It usually takes a disaster, like a world war or a depression, to get people's attention.

The profiteers are ruining what could be a great country again.
