Lieberman makes "LAST DITCH attempt" to explain his Iraq stance
Edited on Sun Aug-06-06 10:54 PM by Bluebear
“I want to get our troops home as fast as anyone, probably more than most!" :eyes:

Senator Joseph I. Lieberman made a last-ditch attempt this evening to explain his support for the war in Iraq and win back doubting voters in Connecticut before the state primary election on Tuesday.

Using his strongest language of the campaign in a speech that might well determine his political fate, Mr. Lieberman said that he still believed his vote to authorize the war in 2002 was correct, yet he now felt a “heavy responsibility” to end the war quickly.

He said he wanted to withdraw American troops “as fast as anyone,” yet insisted that quitting Iraq now would be a “disaster” that could lead to further sectarian violence there.

When they decide to die it be not Isrealies that is going to get kill. Just too far away.

Then Rummy will say they got crush in the bloodbath. 7 millions virgins was created for the 100,000 killed. But what you going to do when One million come. Kill them all. 70 million virgins me think they have. Cause do you really thing it is about the virgins

You might be right stay. When it blows do not surprise they will unite again a common enemy.
After all you want them to unite RIGHT.

The reality is that you are an unwanted guest in their house. And if you going to be a smart ass and get yourself stuck in an internal squabble. You really asking for it.

5. "Leiberman does Dallas!"
Debbie's movie is of a higher moral standard than these two!!! At least her movie didn't end up killing tens of thousands of people. The Bush-Joe-show is something entirely different.

As you can tell from my JFK orientation, any Bush association is suspect.

All the best to all.
