Picking up on the Earth's vibes....?
Is it possible?

Sometimes can you put your ear to the ground and listen to what the Earth is saying? There's a lot of fear. There's a lot of hatred and anger. There's a lot of pain and suffering. There's a lot of disconnected thoughts. It is a time of unpredictability. It is a difficult time to try and communicate - even if you desire. You can hear the distant thunder. Surely we are all one. We cannot withdraw ourselves from what happens to our fellowman. We are all responsible. We cannot pretend it does not matter.

1. I Agree In Principle
never tried to listen to the earth

probably need to get away from the city to do that

we are all connected, we are one, and what we do to the least of our brethren affects all of us.

2. a very wise man once told me:
we all breathe the same air. today we are breathing in the night cries of terrified children, of the dying, of those mourning their dead, of the wounded, and on and on.

truly an epiphany for me, and a new sense of responsibility for my own thoughts, especially my anger and loathing for the war mongers of this planet. we ARE all one. when I drum, it is always mother earth's heartbeat to me.

peace, kentuck - one day, peace.

3. The very earth trembles
for what mankind had wrought.

Several sensitives have mentioned lately that the planet is shifting somehow.

Look at the birds, the bugs, the mammals. Things are off kilter. The critters are restless.

The very earth trembles.

6. Yes I do believe that we are shifting...
Our whole paradigms are shifting and what we are seeing are the results of the clashing between the old paradigms and the new.

It is going to be quite tumultuous.

7. It is all wrong now
and nothing on this planet is comfortable. I hate this, it is killing me, it is killing us. I do not know if we can right what we have done, I certainly hope so.

11. What are you talking about. The birds sing around me every single day.
Edited on Sun Aug-06-06 07:59 PM by Just Me
For the first time in a decade, there are frogs *LOL* everywhere.

I have three bird feeders: one for the invasive squirrels *grin*, one for the adult birds and one for the babies in my kitchen window. The babies sing as they eat (I love that).

Maybe, I just the luckiest person on the face of the earth, having all this natural life all around me. I'll just say this, the feeder in front of my kitchen window is now called, "the nursery" because all the babies eat there.

Just 'cause there are a handful of human beings fucking up, does not mean that the rest of the world isn't carrying on and refuses to be consumed by human disease.

13. They sing to me also. More of late than usual
But it is an odd song

There is a tune of desperation
keener senses.

Beware
Beware
The wind brings uncertain times

Teach the young the skills to survive
The birds are very busy but with purpose

We ignore the earths trembling
lost in the rushed sounds of our treadmills
We miss the signs at our peril

Yes, the birds sing
Their patterns have changed
There are odd bugs here
The earth is parched and flooded

The very earth knows

something comes

Go about your routine
but be aware

Be a ware

Every day
is sacred
Or none of them are

Sensitives can feel what the bugs have noticed and are acting on.

Every day is sacred
or none of them are
and the very earth trembles

8. While workng on a project at home
I moved from the SF Bay Area a little more than a year ago, to the foot of the mountain they named Shasta.

To make space for cars in the garage, I have extended the size of an existing shed, and am in the process of painting it a few hours each morning. Soon it will be complete, just in time for winter.

While I work in silence, alone in my thoughts, I wonder what the future holds for each of us. I feel that I am keeping myself busy, doing necessary work, but certainly things that could wait - absent the news that a crowd is gathering in the streets to demand change. That the time has arrived to join them.

Then I return to my desk, and spend my day boucing nervously back and forth between my work - the teevee, and DU, etc.

I work, I wait, and I wonder... When will the call come? When will it be enough? When will we say it has gone too far? What will it look like? How many of us will heed the call?

All the while, my wife is over on the other side of the yard tending our garden, expanding plantable space, and making sure that we stay healthy. She works diligently, hoping that things will return to normal, that peace will beset the world, that all of this will pass.

Regardless, we both stand by waiting and preparing for the future... Alert, anxious, angry.

Peace

14. A few years ago, I had a dream of a place with many trees
and a bridge across a deep river gorge.

There were thousands of people gathering. There was tremendous energy. They were angry but it was a positive thing. The crowd was of one mind and they were moving to something. They were going to win.

Angry but happy together. Sure. Postive, moving like one being. They crossed this bridge in this place of many trees. And it was a triumph.

I went to a house that stood alone and knocked on a door to call to someone inside to come and join the triumph

Have no idea what it all was, but it was in the Pacific Northwest somewhere. I have never been there.

I had this dream of a place with many trees, tho I live in a desert.

The people were great. The energy was great. The anger was positive.

Maybe it was not far from you. The place of many trees. The people who would not stand still and be kept from that bridge.

It was a good dream.

9. I think there are changes
but do I feel it in particular? I don't know. Having Bush in office and knowing how horrible he is, I wonder who will lead us.

10. Strange. I am feeling it easier to communicate.
Edited on Sun Aug-06-06 08:01 PM by Just Me
I feel totally connected and more focused than,...ever.

We are drawing closer, in my "vibe", and have always been "one", a piece and part of eachother.

The "hatred and anger" are superimposed by those who fear the loss of power over,...life,...a power they never possessed. The "sick ones".

We are okay. We are a natural gathering force against that which is destructive.

15. We are people gathering to cross a bridge
We will prevail over the ones who want us to stay put and accept.
