This is the most crucial midterm election ever
It's imperative that we get people out to vote this year. Most Americans don't even bother to vote in the midterms - if it's not a Presidential election, they don't think it's that important.

Yet in a way, this midterm IS a presidential election. I honestly believe that if we gain a majority in both houses, we can get these two thugs out of office. How does President Pelosi sound? I'm sure that not all of us are big Pelosi fans (hard to find many in Congress that we can all agree on), but I daresay that anybody would disagree that getting BushCo out of office isn't the primary objective here. Work on that first, then we can focus on '08.

Rather than focusing this year's elections on local politics, let's make this a referendum on Bush and his cabal of lies. Make '06 be the year that Bush answers for his crimes!

1. They've all become exceedingly important!
But folx we still got corrupt machines, so it doesn't matter how many people show up to vote for Dems! It could all be another throwaway election! It would be hard to think they could get away with it a third time, but this time all across the board- in all the states- a massive scale theft!

2. Winning the House == impeachment
I totally agree with you about the importance of this midterm. But, I don't think we need to win both the House and Senate to remove the Bush/Cheney crime family. Winning the House means the Dems get subpoena power and Conyers free to investigate. As with Nixon, once the truth starts to comes out, the GOP will run from the President.
