Michelle Goldberg appears at the All Souls Unitarian Church in Indianpolis, Indiana to discuss her book about religious conservatives. The author argues that many conservative religious leaders and organizations are working to make the United States an overtly Christian nation with Christian laws. She describes how the Bush administration's faith based initiative has changed public health policy and transformed organizations like the Salvation Army. Following her remarks she takes questions from the audience.

Michelle Goldberg is a senior writer for Salon.com and a member of the advisory board of the Campaign to Defend the Constitution (www.defconamerica.org ). She has written for the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Rolling Stone, and Newsday. "Kingdom Coming" is her first book.
