Lieberman on THIS WEEK: Iraq is better and Worse
Lieberman on THIS WEEK: Iraq is better and Worse
By: John Amato on Sunday, August 6th, 2006 at 10:40 AM - PDT

Lieberman was also interviewed on THIS WEEK. He smiles when he’s asked by George Stephanapolous about his decision to split from the party and run as an Indi if he loses the primary. Like it’s some big joke. Since Lieberman is making Iraq the only issue that CT voters seem to upset by, then his response to Stephanapolous on Iraq sounded exactly as if George W. Bush were answering it for him. He can’t run away from that.

Lieberman: It is better now…it, it, it’s better and worse if you’ll allow me to put it that way.

His argument that he has been critical in the way the war has been conducted is not a defense of anything. It doesn’t show courage or leadership or independence of thought. This war should have never been fought and his stance on it has been detrimental to all Democrats.

2. Someone can't seem to take a definitive stance on Iraq...
Guess Senator Lieberman now realizes it isn't as easy as it looks.

3. 'terrorists & insurgents'...'terrorists & insurgents'
Joe refuses to step out of his bubble. May he go down in flames.

5. No Joe, I will not allow you to put it that way.
It sounds like you are trying to have it both ways.

So tell me Joe, how is Iraq, in any way, better?
