Sriously, it is biased as usual. Reporters are making unfounded statements. In the mean time all relavant US news is swept behind the curtain (which they want since elections are coming up and Iraq isn't doing so well.) And now, somehow, Mel's drunk driving episode somehow is effecting the ME. WTF is wrong with this damn country, our fake news, and people of this country who give away their governing rights by sitting there and taking it.

1. Adding to this
is the 24/7 accounts of the Lebanon/Israel war on all the cable channels. They seem to be playing up this conflict in order to make us forget about Iraq and all the missing billions plus the lobbyist scandals, open ended no bid contracts they gave to their friends, etc...

5. I'm not tired of news of the ME. But, I ignore American coverage of it.
The fluff that passes for "news" in this country is about as reliable as the informercials for Instant Hair Growth treatments.

7. Agreed. No analysis, no insight, no even-handedness
No real journalism at all.

And no Democrats, I might add. Too much AIPAC, and too much controversy.

6. I'm tired of the extreme religious beliefs that are at the heart all of it
In the Middle East AND the United States. I wish everyone would just CHILL the hell out, stop playing "tit for tat" and give up the "my way or the highway" attitude and do some compromising to get along!

All of it is beyond old and not only that, but as we all know...people are dying because of it and that should NEVER happen. :(

11. In the wee hours of the morning, I was able to watch CNN-International
WHAT a difference.. If only we could watch that all the time instead of the "packaged/massaged" crap they dose out to us here..

Of course, after the "breaking news" segment they were showing, it was right back to the destruction of the barracks in beirut "show" that CNN has been showing round the clock here..

13. Blood on the Rooftops
Let’s skip the news boy (I’ll go make some tea)
The arabs and the jews boy (too much for me)
They get me confused boy (puts me off to sleep)
And the thing I hate - oh lord!
Is staying up late, to watch some debate, on some nation’s fate.

Genesis song lyrics, 1976

Plus ça change ...
