Satelite photos of Beirut, Lebanon

I hope no one else has posted this. If they did I haven't seen it. Anyway here are two satelite images of Beirut, Lebanon from before and after the attack. About half of Beirut is completely gone. Yet Isreal keeps saying that they aren't targeting civilians. I seriously doubt that half of the capitol of Lebanon qualifies as a military target.

2. Actually that's not half of Beiruit, its just one small area

And the devestation in the middle is around an area that was an Hizbullah "stronghold". Of course, this only goes to show how inaccurate the so called "smart bombs" can be.

You could also argue that it is a case of collective punishment, because they seem to have taken out any building that was even NEAR the Hizbullah buildings. And quite a few that were not even close.

I believe the area pictured is about a mile or so square.
