Got my Prius today (for 1500 below MSRP) --- Production must have doubled
I wrote a post a few days ago about production of the Priuses increasing:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=364&topic_id=1795562

Anyway, I used that information today and I am going to get my Prius in 5 days. I got them down to 1500 BELOW MSRP on the price too.

WOOT!

1. Enjoy it!
I bought mine last December - and have never been happier with a car. I just put less than 5.2 gallons in the tank to fill up after driving 300 miles. While it is not the only reason to love the car - it sure as heck helps! Have Fun!

2. What a great feeling,eh!?
I bought a used Highlander Hybrid with 12,000 mi on it and I am in heaven!!

Would have gone for the Prius but the kids and dogs would not have been happy with the seating.

Enjoy and BE PROUD!

We plan on having 3 kids and the Prius should accommodate them pretty well. One of the great things is that it measures the weight of the person in the passenger seat and will not release the air bags if someone weighs like a child. That will be great for when the kids get older.

3. Just curious
What is the MSRP?

The reason I ask is my S-10 will be paid off in a couple of months, and I'd like to buy a Prius for my wife.

10. Well, I know that
I just needed to know the number, so I know what to expect, and how to negotiate.

I'm glad you got it below MSRP, because dealers were adding a premium before. Good to know.

7. Ours is getting 56 mpg today, usually about 52
And the low CO2 emissions are the real reason to get one!

8. very true. all the people in my office were jealous, i even made my paren
ts jealous.

The best thing about making someone jealous was that I met someone today (my wife knows) that was a H2 or H3 prospector. I got them jealous enough to start thinking about getting a hybrid SUV instead :D
