I just talked to my mother who's been involved in CT politics for 40 years and backs Lamont; she says she doesn't trust the polls, and wouldn't be surprised to see Lieberman eke it out She thinks Lamont's support is really quite soft.
to pick lieberman as VP. but what lots of DUers don't like to admit is that al is first and foremost a politician and wants to win. principles are a little vague to him. in my opinion his time is over. he DID win in 2000 but didn't have the cujones to keep the recount going. he capitulated.....a confident and courageous man never would have conceded.
